When I’ve got spare time on my hands for some self initiated work, I like to have a crack a creating some interesting  /functioning typefaces, It”s a new skill for me, but I feel I’m progressing slowly. Some of the fonts Sawdust create make me want to go back to the drawing board and start from scratch. They are the perfect combination of abstract originality and legibility. New modern is the absolute epitome of this style, with a nice juxtaposition of heavy stems and ultra-light strokes merging together in some unconventional manners.
